On Friday, October 9th, we had a No-Uniform Day in school to help raise money for Trocaire / Syrian Refugees. Thanks to the wonderful generosity of our school families, we raised €361.30. A big ‘Thank You’ to all who took part.
We were presented with our Irish flag as part of the Ireland 2016 Centenary Programme.
We have been learning all about Óisin in Tír na nÓg in history. We listened to the story and heard some lovely music inspired by the Irish legend. We painted each part of the story and used the pictures to retell it. We used our pictures to make a photostory and recorded our sentences.
Ms O’ Connor, Kate, Jade and Willow travelled to Letterkenny to collect our 4th Green School’s Flag for our work on the Travel theme.
